Michael Robbins
PRINCIPAL
Born and raised in rural Central New York, Robbins grew up in a house he watched his parents build. After pursuing a formal education in photography, he walked the path of a carpenter and spent most of his twenties living off the grid building houses in Vermont and New Mexico.
Largely self taught, Robbins has a deep love for big empty spaces and wild terrain. It is this sense of adventure that fuels Robbins' vision of creating furniture that is both formal and meaningful with each line rooted in beauty and necessity.
Acknowledgment for his residential and commercial furnishings has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, Interior Design, Dwell, and Fine Woodworking.

Roger French

With fifteen years of experience, it is evident that each piece of furniture expresses his growth in craftsmanship. His enthusiasim for creating is not only seen at work but found at home in the form of house projects, gardens, and bicycle corral.

Adam Foote
PRODUCTION MANAGER
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Adam relocated to Hudson Valley to join the Michael Robbins team in 2022. His bachelor’s in History provides a unique viewpoint to his expertise as a furniture maker; each project is an opportunity to create something long-lasting, not hastily made and quickly forgotten.
Adam’s years of experience are undoubtedly important, but his most crucial job may be as the dog dad of our number-one supporting team member, Ekho.
